A note about homework deadlines, added 2/3/14: Some (maybe all) homework assignments will have an "official" deadline and an "automatic extension" deadline, as displayed on the summary schedule. The main idea behind this is that I expect you to have made your best effort to complete the homework assignment by the official deadline. If you notify me, before the official deadline, of any specific difficulties you are facing, then I'll do my best to respond. Typically, this will be during an in-class homework session, my regular office hours, or in an appointment that we schedule. If you notify me of homework difficulties after the official deadline, it will be much more difficult for me to assist you.
